This Tuesday, 29th June, 2021, The Organizing Committee of the 1st Caribbean Games represented by President Alain SOREZE, and the Riviera du Levant Urban Communinity, represented by the President of the Sports Commission Mr. Richard ALBERT, have signed the partnership agreement for the 2022 Caribbean Games.

After being postoponed due to the covid-19 pandemic, this signing is the starting point for a new step in the organization of these 1st Caribbean Games 2022 scheduled from June 29 to July 3, 2022.
The Urban Community territory will shelter the athletes' village as well as the hotels of the officials and the Olympic Family. In addition, several competitions of the Caribbean Games will take place on its territory, such as open water swimming at Anse Tabarin in Gosier, as well as Futsal at the Palais des Sports in Gosier.
The Riviera du Levant Urban Communinity is committed to setting up cultural and attractive activities during these Caribbean Games 2022.
President Alain Soreze stated that things are being gradually established with other public and private partners, taking into account the economic situation.
