For the first time in CAC Games history, Netball will be one of the 38 sports planned for this 24th edition which will take place in 2023 in San Salvador.

The Jamaica Olympic Association is at the initiative of this decision, in order to popularize Netball, an important discipline in Jamaica.
Its president, Christopher Samuda, said he was ready to help Spanish-speaking countries lacking the means to develop Netball in their territories.
The president is nevertheless aware of the work that needs to put in, so that Netball becomes an Olympic discipline.
