Netball

Netball is an exciting, fast paced and skillful game of fair competition. It is a game in which two teams of seven players each strive to keep or gain possession of the ball.

The team with the ball, running, jumping, throwing and catching, attempts to move the ball into their goal circle from where a goal can be scored, while the opposing team uses defensive moves and strategies to prevent this and gain possession of the ball. The team with the most goals is the winner of the match.

Players have specific areas in which they can move. Play resumes after each goal with the teams having alternate possession. The rules are based on the core values ​​of equal opportunity, fair play and respect for the skills and safety of an opponent.
